Note from donor:

This model of an airplane was designed for children. My wife and I made it in an airplane club during the bombings of Serbia and Belgrade.

Just as we finished it a tragedy occurred where a nine year-old girl, Milica Rakić, was killed by an airborne bomber strike in the village of Batajnica.

Shaken up by this event we wrote “Don’t kill mankind“ on the wings of our plane. We keep it as a reminder of that terrible day, and in memory of all the victims killed during the war.
