Maybe it was just a hobby – however the love our father had for fishing and the water was conditioned into us. There was a need to make our own boat, and from there, shipbuilding.
Our memories from childhood are of long winter nights when father would patiently carve out his galleys. After hours of work, it was always enjoyable to observe how, from a piece of wood, dads skill would produce the hull of a ship, little oars, and from a strip of canvas, the sails. These little masterpieces are part of our lives forever and serve as a memento of him.
